ANALOG TO DIGITAL CONVERSIONS

While new media production and dissemination is largely done in a digital environment today, CMI retains a deep expertise in the handling of “analog”, film-based media assets. We regularly convert analog assets into digital formats that can be stored in a variety of ways. Once digitized, media assets are more readily catalogued and archived, an area commonly referred to as digital asset management and where CMI has also built expertise to ultimately allow our customers a more efficient monetization of their media assets.

VIDEO DUPLICATION

CMI is one of the few remaining companies with high volume video duplication facilities. We routinely duplicate thousands of copies of original material in different tape formats including VHS, 8mm and Hi-8mm cassettes.  Tape-based communication retains relevance for specific initiatives, e.g. Public health outreach programs and historic content preservation

TAPE EDITING

Tape-based content is also most efficiently edited in a tape-based environment, saving you the steps of digitizing and importing content into a digital editing platform. Our tape editing capabilities allow our customers to easily and cost-effectively update their tape-based material.
